Tina finalizes her doctorate Exploiting Human Visual Attention for Automatic Image Selection and Annotationwith her defense during insane summer haze. The research focuses on the analysis of eye-tracking data to recognize important photos and areas of pictures. It was supervised by Prof Staab and Prof Scherp. The finding were presented in a series of scientific papers during the last years, and were discussed internationally at top-tier conferences like CHI – Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, the leading conference on HCI topics.
