How does crowd eye tracking work?
Eye tracking analyzes are used to optimize visual products, such as advertising, web pages or films. EYEVIDO provides software and infrastructure to conduct eye tracking studies on a web-based architecture. Our portal is easy to access via any modern web browser. It is therefore possible to create and evaluate studies on any computer. To perform studies, a computer must have Internet access, be equipped with an eye tracker, and the EYEVIDO Tester Software must be installed. The recording can then take place at any location. Several people can participate simultaneously. The results can be viewed immediately in the portal.
A new eye tracking study is created in the web interface.
After completion the study is started and the data collection begins.

What are the advantages of crowd eye tracking?
Until now, high-quality eye tracking studies could only take place in eye tracking labs because the software could only be installed on an in-house computer. This means that all the steps in an eye tracking study – design, execution and analysis – had to be carried out on this computer.

EYEVIDO Crowd Eye Tracking Studies offer the same quality as studies undertaken in a lab. However, our studies are more flexible and quicker because the test subjects can take part in studies in any place and at any time. Small-scale studies, which were cost prohibitive until now, are also possible. Also, frequent iterations of studies or studies in special situations are equally feasible. The web-based structure allows for straightforward use regardless of the operating system.
