EYEVIDO has spent 2.5 years researching the future of recording and processing user data in the GazeMining research project together with the University of Koblenz. The project was funded by the KMU innovativ program, with which the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports industrial research and pre-competitive development projects of cutting-edge research in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The approach was developed to correctly store even complex websites with dynamic elements as screenshots and to be able to display and analyze user data (eye tracking, mouse, scrolling) grouped on screenshots. On this basis, the visualization and analysis of user data can be performed extremely efficiently.
The „Screen recording preparation method for evaluating software usability” has been protected in a patent in Europe (EP3640804B1) and the USA (US2020125481A1). We are very proud to have implemented the patent as the core of EYEVIDO and to let our users benefit from it.
