To record high-quality eye tracking data, use an infrared eye tracker. The eye tracker must be installed before performing the study. Please follow the instructions according to your eye tracker model:
Installation Eyetracker Tobii Pro (Spark, Spectrum, Nano, …)
- Please note the system requirements.
- Attach the eye tracker below the monitor.
- Install the Tobii Pro Eye Tracker Manager https://www.tobiipro.com/product-listing/eye-tracker-manager/.
- After installing the Tobii software, you will be prompted to calibrate the eye tracker. You should do this once. Our software runs its own calibration before each new session.
- Set the eye tracker “Tobii Pro” in the subject software EYEVIDO under settings.
Installation Eyetracker Tobii EyeX, 4C
- Please note the system requirements. The Tobii EyeX requires a USB3 port.
- Mount the eye tracker below the monitor. You can use the included metal plates for this purpose. The metal plates can be removed without leaving any residue.
- Install the “Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software”. Under select device, choose “Tobii Eye tracker 4C/ Tobii EyeX”. Download the software from the following link: https://gaming.tobii.com/getstarted/.
- After installing the Tobii software, you will be prompted to calibrate the eye tracker. You should do this once. Our software will run its own calibration before each new session.
- Select the correct Tobii eye tracker in the EYEVIDO tester software under settings.
Installation Eyetracker SMI REDn / myGaze n
- Please note the system requirements. The computer must have a USB 3.0 port.
- Mount the eye tracker below the monitor. You can use the enclosed metal plates for this purpose.
The metal plates can be removed without leaving any residue. - If you do not have the required SMI or myGaze software, we will be happy to provide you with the necessary files on request.
- Set the eye tracker ,,SMI REDn” or ,,myGaze n” in the EYEVIDO test person software under Settings.
