New social media study published

Our study shows: Social-Media-Feedback, integrated into the own company website, is hardly noticed and does not influence website visitors.

In a study with 20 test persons we investigated together with the eMBIS Academy for Online Marketing whether and how website visitors perceive embedded social media evaluations.
It turned out that these evaluations are hardly noticed by the visitors and have no positive influence. About 30% of website visitors don’t even look at likes and ratings. Another 30 % do not perceive them consciously and cannot remember them afterwards.
